I also feel like deactivating takes burden off of the Twitter servers which doesn't feel very insurgent ;x

I get moving to BlueSky (or anywhere else) primarily, but is there actually any reason beyond the performative to *deactivate* your account over there?

I feel like keeping your account but not logging in has benefits, like other people not pretending they're you for the next 3 years for example.
