The 91st Rule of Acquisition: Your boss is only worth what he pays you.
Hurt people hurt people.
Smiling Friends fans will spend the next +10 years saying, "phew, glad our show ended on a good note and didn't turn into THIS" whenever a new episode of the Simpsons/Rick and Morty/Hazbin Hotel comes out.
I'm already seeing it and boy it makes y'all seem bitter.
A real nasty coping mechanism.
Elite ball knowledge
What the fuck. They Human Centipede'd Pringles.
I respect people's pronouns cause they don't fuck around the way that the Cheesecake Factory does.
Do you know how long it took me to realize that shit was a restaurant? Smh...
I exclusively use my minor Photoshop skills for evil
"His company promotes something called a 'Switch' which I've been told is an ILLEGAL modification to firearms, allowing them to fire at terrifying rate."
"Many homes already have switches, sometimes 2 or even 3 in the same house. We're coming for these Mario Murder machines, better believe it."
"We're going to war with Mario, Mario the Plumber he's called. Crawled up from the sewers and is making a damn mess, as his kind usually do..."
"He's a coward really, a man who kills turtles and uses drugs, is that the kind of person you want your kids around? I don't know who would, Mama Mia..."
Discussions around the Mary/Gary Sue trope focus too heavily on the person's abilities and too little on whether they have inherent flaws.
Ben 10 gets literally every power in the universe strapped to his wrist without earning it, but no one calls him a Gary Sue because he's also slow/brash.
Pokémon Fart Smeller and Pokémon Smart Feller.
Oh water is good for you? Then why do you always insta-die when your video game character falls in three feet of aqua destructa?
Truthseekers knew this reality in decades past but the lore was forgotten when Dasani commissioned Mario Sunshine as wasser propaganda.
The knowledge knowers drink lava.
The best sign of a healthy fandom is when they see cool shit and don't immediately start coming up with hypothetical situations where they're going to be pissed off.
You got a cute dog as your starting buddy, maybe the problem is that you're too deep in a misery-maxxing competition to be happy.
I don't like to throw around accusations of "first world problems," but the bottled up, half-joking anger bubbling in the Pokemon community about the new fire-starter potentially DARING to stand up as it evolves is downright embarrassing.
Truly, no testicles are safe from this boy.
"Bold of you to assume..." Why yes, I am a bold person, thnx for noticing.
I trust my mental faculties enough to be reasonably sure of my extrapolory thought-process.
If my stance is proven wrong at a later date I'll adjust/accept it.
Assumptions are inherently temporary, not inherently flawed.
Movie pitch: a fantastical comedy in the style of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, only it's where all the sex toys are made.
Give it an edge by having the guests be killed off, setting up a discussion for violence vs. sex in media.
Also have sex bots, a la Austin Powers, as the Oompa Loompas.
I think Smiling Friends ending on their own terms is great.
The show wasn't as episodic as Aqua Teen Hunger Force, but not as plot focused as The Venture Bros.
It was at that point in a shows life where they either had to start building a more expanded world or walk away.
Nothing wrong with that.
Without naming names, I recently watched a review where someone used 5 unbroken minutes of episode clips.
The lack of commentary/reflection was truly baffling, almost to the point of being false advertising.
Really made me chill out about my own content, cause at least I ain't doing that shit.
Samurai Jack's original wistful, sorrowful ending is perfect.
Trying to hit the undo button and canonize a sappy happy alternative in a video game secret ending is...pretty lame.
Going back to the past to undo Aku's future means erasing the bad stuff AND the good.
It was always going to hurt.
As a society, America has been stuck in the alleyway fight from "They Live" since 2016.
Curiosity has once again brought me into contact with horrifying knowledge.
I spent that last 20 minutes discovering the concept of Tree(3) and now I'm laying on the floor.
It's much, much too big.
Just realized that an old work friend and his wife don't share pictures of themselves together anymore.
He's been posting from a house he bought in the hills and she's usually in San Fran with the girlies.
They spent 4 MONTHS posting about their upcoming wedding, if they split up I'mma be mad.
No shade but the first paragraph really undercuts what the second is arguing.
Of course dummies will try to use this to push an anti-trans narrative, but only because it's easier than trying to deconstruct what's causing certain white Americans to go berserk.
Although, with how many fucking shootings this country has, this story will be buried by another before long.
The news: "A trans person did a shooting!"
Me: *Looks up the information. Sees giant nazi tattoo on their arm*
Yeah, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that, cis or trans, white nationalism is the primary factor in the shooter demographic.
Weird that an ideology centered on murder would do this..
No one's gay for Raichu...😢
Nothing wrong with ol' fashioned off-screen plowing.
The girls are having a good time, are obviously enthusiastic partners, and Kratos gets to ejaculate dozens of upgrade orbs---just like in real life.
It's all fine.
Hey, do we want to combat the Ai takeover or not?
Lethal doses of soul-shattering cringe and disgust is the only thing that can save us now.
