If it's in-character, like your character is supposed to be an egotistical ass, than sure. But outside of that or if it's not in their nature to think that highly of themselves, or at least they don't get their comeuppance for being so full of themselves, then please... rethink your portrayal.

{This is kinda a common complaint, but still a bothersome one for me...

Stop hyping your character up as being better than everyone else just because they're very powerful. Some of you sound like Homelander but without any kind of self-awareness.

{One other nice thing about BlueSky is that I don't have to censor myself. I don't mean swears, but I can say things like "homework" and not worry about my account getting flooded by bots or my account getting locked for a week for an out-of-context phrase picked up as "a hateful comment".}
