yeah I just realized how many of those comedians were on SNL in the early days and why it felt like a comedy fraternity in the 80s. well.

back in like the 80s and 90s that was actually the case, we had a lot of comedians who came up together and i think that's why we had so many good comedy projects during those decades.

for me it's the puriteens. you try to find fanart and instead you're hit with every 17 year old's magnum opus on why hating a character is the hill they'll happily die on and how they plan to take everyone down with them

honestly despite the amount of fervor the sex scenes inspired, it's a very tasteful and mostly restrained (in a good way) execution and a lot of that feeling is due to the cinematography and quietude after the sex scenes. very thoughtfully done.
okay I won't rush then but I'll aim to start it this weekend at the latest. that gives us both some leeway 😭
