Heroes of the Storm is 10 years old today! I started one year later as an Associate Environment Artist. My first assignment was to redesign the "King's Crest" healing fountain to be more in-line with the game's final art style.
Blocking out the first half of this assignment. Gonna have Omega (awesome rig from Agora) roll forward and bounce up the barrels and crates to reach a door that it’ll open with a button press using the tail 🦝

90’s/Y2K themed party vibes were immaculate
Part 2 of the assignment. We were told to add motion along the X and Y axes. I also remixed some audio in Audacity to pan and follow the saucer from left to right across the screen.
Never thought I’d be so excited to animate a pendulum swing, but here we are 😌
I've been quiet on here because I have my head down job-hunting and also because the world is on fire, but I've been tweaking some of my animations and did a more extensive overhaul on this one. I think it's a big improvement!

This jump is one of the most satisfying things I've ever gotten to animate. If you jump once it cycles back to the run, but if spammed it is a perfectly looping spin!

Latest animation assignment—animate three different types of balls to show differences in weight and movement. I decided to add some environmental interaction for an added challenge. This was my first time animating a rigged prop too ⚽️🎳🏐
