How this last few days has felt after switching in as an alter that does not want to perform the task we collectively committed to doing so we could say we accomplished something in our life.

one thing i was mentally struggling with just now is comparing the current page im working on to finished ones. Finished flat coloring, and immediately went "ew, this is the ugliest page so far". added some airbrush detail, and it suddenly looked exactly like i envisioned it. Trust the process, fam.

While I'm terrified of public reception, since I'm largely doing this for myself and by myself, I'm excited to at least attempt to be more open with my work, even if my brain tells me its gonna go south somehow.

I'm about to start coloring the first page of the prologue to the Leros story and i'm SO proud of it ngl. I'm ecstatic to see it done. Should be able to start releasing pages on a dedicated co-owned site early-ish next year! Just wanna get a bit ahead first so I'm not constantly stressing about it.

I'm not even gonna lie, I think comics are my passion? Like- I love doing art so much, but i've never quite had the same amount of pride and fulfillment as finishing a comic page.

I just have to get motivated to do it, BUT GOD WHEN I DO ITS SUCH AN AMAZING FEELING

If i do, it definitely won't be every day, and im not gonna beat myself up over not finishing one.

I'm busy, but i don't draw gore often and october is usually the best time/reason to take some time for it lol

Gonna drop the posting schedule. I'll just post whenever i think about doing it. Mental health is lowkey tryna tank again bc of the state of the world, and schedules cause me the most stress, so that's the first to go in an effort to keep my sanity lol.

An old piece of my friend @giobrauer.com that i still think is some of my best tbh. Still SUPER satisfied with every part of this.
