The departure time for my flight home has been changed seven times. I am so tired of this. And just so tired.

Neither Wintergreen Altoids nor Clark's Teaberry Gum taste like wintergreen anymore. Both are overwhelmingly peppermint flavored.

It's so convenient, when I'm overseas, and people ask me where I'm from, to be able to point to a picture on the news and say, "That's the building where I work."

Upon further research, it appears that "empanadas" can be and are made throughout many Romance-Language countries, with a variety of ingredients, and what I have been making lately would be perfectly acceptable, or at least recognizable, as empanadas in Colombia, Mexico or Belize.

Re-downloaded Instagram, because FaceBook wasn't allowing me to (1) view a content creator's posts *chronologically* and (2) watch the *whole* video before pushing some other content in my face. The Gram solves both of these issues, but is otherwise completely infuriating. Worst user interface!!!

All of my attempts at a mocktail with the Prickly Pear balsamic vinegar just ended up tasting like bubblegum ... until today!

1 tsp each
Prickly Pear balsamic
Ginger syrup
Mint syrup
Grapefruit zest syrup
and a dash of Sumac bitters

Yummmmmm!

I made a vase. I think it's good enough to be given as a present. About 7" tall, maybe.

I did confirm that this is, in fact, three separate items, and not one.

Latest mocktail: blueberry balsamic vinegar, lemon syrup, ginger ale, and seltzer, with a dash of Watkins vanilla bitters. This one was so fabulous it needs a name!

Modeling my great kilt at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. Six yards of fabric with no seams, just held together with a belt. Heck yeah, I'm wearing shorts under it!

I'll try that next. By the bottom of the pint, the lavender got a bit perfumey/soapy.

Another winner: lemon syrup, pomegranate juice, ginger syrup, and a lavender/wormwood bitters, with seltzer.

It's not easy, painting a picture of my phantom. It's especially hard to capture the shimmering effect, in watercolor.

Successfully extracted the library's CD from a non-responsive car audio system. Bonus points - the radio still worked when put it back into the dashboard.

So, alright, maybe my balsamic vinegar mocktails aren't a million dollar idea. I still think the Raspberry Gorilla is pretty darned tasty! Raspberry syrup, banana cheung, and plain 18yr balsamic, spice bitters and sarsaparilla, plus seltzer and a dusting of candied ginger powder. Yumz!

I woke up a four, from a very strange stress dream, in which I showed up late for a Scottish dancing performance, and discovered to my horror that I had forgotten to not wear any trousers.
