We dont typically get costa's hummingbirds this far north. My dad and I think he may be a black chinned hummingbird.

They have incredible night vision. So incredible that their eyes literally burn up in the bright sun.
And the net thing is bc they are badass and dont want to sit in a web waiting for prey. (They can see so good they can just walk up to their food and grab it)
