DHS says Medina entered the U.S. illegally but her attorney & family say otherwise. Her family and lawyer also point to the 20 years she’s lived in the U.S. w/ no criminal history & the positive contributions she & her family have made to the community.

Oregon lawmakers approve measure to prohibit ICE agents from wearing masks House Bill 4138 would require officers to clearly display their name or identifying number, their agency and their badge. The bill also limits the use of facial coverings that conceal a person’s identity, with a few exceptions.

Oregon state Democratic lawmakers approved a measure on Thursday that would prevent federal immigration officers from wearing masks. The measure is a response to the Trump administration’s nationwide deportation efforts.
