Today on @opb.org's The Evergreen:
Last fall, President Trump said heβd deploy the National Guard to Portland to support ICE. He falsely claimed the city was βwar ravaged" & "on fire." It kicked off a complex legal battle that led to deployment being blocked. We discuss with three OPB journalists:

Neighbors of Portland ICE facility to go before federal judge over chronic tear gas
A lawsuit over chemical munitions seeping into residences at a low-income apartment complex across from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Portland is set for a hearing Friday.
People living across the street from Portland's ICE facility are seeking relief. Not only are chemicals used by federal agents infiltrating their homes, they're wreaking havoc on their bodies and lives. In court filings, they describe sleeping with gas masks.
