Would love to connect with a Seattle-based, trans graphic designer to do some flyers for an event by/for trans people in Seattle.

Would be compensated.

WA voters to see ballot initiative aimed at trans girls in sports A state ballot initiative would require sex verification for girls’ school sports, raising concerns from pediatricians about cost, privacy and access to care.

Girls who want to play sports, would need a doctor to "verify their biological sex."

Call your reps about this. Every time a book ban has been overturned or shut down, it's because the vast majority of people who believe in the freedom to read spoke up.

A U.S. scholarship thrills a teacher in India. Then came the soul-crushing questions She was thrilled to become the first teacher from a government-sponsored school in India to get a Fulbright exchange award to learn from U.S. schools. People asked two questions that clouded her joy.

I know this feels pointless but everyone has to call their congressional reps and say they oppose war with Iran and they oppose Trump illegally starting one without congressional approval — both

5 Calls can help you make the call:

I had high hopes for our improving relations with Iran, and by extension, the rest of the Muslim world, which we need for peace and for people to thrive, but instead we're killing them. Just murdering people.

It's not "just a distraction." It's an atrocity. And it sets peace, diplomacy, and democracy back decades. When you call destroying cities, killing civilians, a disctraction, you are dehumanizing those people and their culture, perpetuaing a world view that values some lives and not others.

I'm begging my fellow politicians, Illinoisans, and Americans to realize that right now, we aren't fighting over policy or political party.

We're fighting over whether we're going to be a country rooted in empathy and kindness — or one rooted in cruelty and rage.
