Friendos, are any of y'all familiar with Shopify as a platform? I'm helping my work transition from Squarespace to Shopify and I need some help with figuring out a couple of things. Totally willing to pay for a couple of lessons if you've got the expertise and want to teach me what I need!

Totally makes sense, and honestly, in my opinion short stories are a better way to fill in a world that's been wrapped up as well as Game Changers has been anyway, no expectations for something long and coherent, just sweet little treats to periodically savor that happy ending.

Just saw the Black Jewels books described as "high fantasy woman's gaze game of thrones" and I hadn't thought of it that way before but I can get behind that description - though, imo, Black Jewels is superior to GoT in basically all ways.

Santa's Knot by DJ Heart is very gay, very hot (and more wholesome than much of his other work iirc) and hilariously bonkers - if you like leather and kink it's very hot and very funny. Otherwise, AJ Sherwood's Ross Young books are also all three, though in a very different way than Heart's stuff!

We have a zojirushi water boiler and the pour over coffee glass hourglass thing just sits on a coaster under the spout so I can press a button instead of lift a kettle and it's super nice, I highly recommend it!

In other news, if you're better at Calibre's weird version of python than I am and want to help me learn how to use action chains and really dig in deep to the possibilities available, let me know! I'd love help!

I've spent today working on my beginner's guide to using Calibre + FanFicFare to archive your favorite fanworks. I love being the generation I am - perfect timing for being able to use programs absolutely not designed for people who don't have patience for 800+ page forum threads as the only manual.
