The loss of Canada to the US tomato industry represents a 25% decline in their revenues which simply cannot be sustained by any business. The same with celery, lettuces and even alcohol.

And repeat this model with other countries until the US simply becomes an irrelevant player.

Examples would be Canada making a tariff free trade agreement for tomatoes, cucumbers, celery, avocados etc while Canada supplies grains, corn, pharmaceuticals, fertilizers.
