I don't know what you mean, several polls on societal attitudes show that they are socially conservative as white evangelicals are in the USA. And in the referendum to legalized same sex marriage in Australia just 20% of Muslims voted in favour of it, so yeah they are socially conservative

I just mentioned what the poll says, and absolutely yes far right politicians are homophobic but the lgbt community is a low-salience issue, even in uk polls show that the debate on trans is seen as priority by just 2% of people. People vote on Health,jobs,housing, immigration and public security

Sorry but progressive and "Muslim" don't make any sense. The majority of countries where there are systemics persecutions of LGBT people are Muslim majorities countries. This is rainbow washing.
