One of my favorite scenes on Woodward, the Janet Davis dry cleaner with some very iconic neon signage. A longer exposure with slightly bloomed lighting as well as several puddles

The first shot of the night, the only shot exposed at roughly box speed by accident (thinking I was shooting lomo red scale at 100ish) Actually ended up having some of the best colors of the whole set. Lots of shadow fall off and a cute little round flare in the center of the image off an insanely bright light in the distance

Not too shabby for an almost 100 year old camera lmao, although I didn't realize this was like 20-year-expired portra 160nc in the roll film back whoops

Also a good test for the spot meter I got cheap! It workin! Yay!

I'll be honest, I've messed around with one of those thread-mount leicas before and the canon ivsb I've got feels so much better to use and was so much less cash. Also hot take but canon's lenses for the thread-mount are just as good as leica's and are a fraction of the price 😂

The culprit: shoddy 50s-80s plumbing that used too thin a copper pipe, corrosion causing a small pinhole leak or two to form

If you ever want to fix it up it's actually surprisingly simple, a few set screws and the whole cog pops off and a few q-tips and alcohol thins the grease right up

Fixed up another TLR real quick, this one came in with a kinda weird frozen lens issue. Both cogs would rotate fine and the viewing lens was perfect, but the taking lens would stay out. Set screws had slipped due to bad helicoid grease yuck

Cleaned everything up and ready to shoot!

Literally pristine, already took the front element off the taking lens and cleaned the tiny amount of haze/fungus in there. Even came with the hood and lens cap and an immaculate case. Stupid cheap hell yeah
