Just checking over our latest edition of Let’s Talk where we lead with all our preparations to be Ramadan Ready. Once again our award winning Fast Packs, Ramadan Allies , Prop packs are being distributed across the Trust to support all our Muslim colleague throughout the holy month.

We took time out of our Bradford 2025 City of Culture Board meeting yesterday to visit the Centenary Square Ramadan Pavilion.

Been out and about this morning visiting Theatres & Critical care to see how the newly deployed Theatres & Critcare module of our Cerner Electronic patient record is enhancing the care of our patients & the practice of colleagues. A real positive buzz amongst the team about the benefits so far👍

I’m at the VCS Alliance appreciation event hearing from colleagues, Therese Patten, Place Lead @actasonebdc.bsky.social Sam Keighley CEO and Vicki Bere Chair ( through the magic of the telly box) about the invaluable contributions made by our partners across this sector .

So I reckoned to start my Bluesky journey I would start with some particularly magnificent news. Last week Bradford Neonatal Unit was rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC and we couldn’t be happier nor more proud of this amazing clinical team. 👏🙌
