One of my favorite interviews ever was speaking to Philippe Mora for this because he had STORIES. It was glorious and he knew this movie was a mess, no thanks to the studio.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, Christopher McQuarrie Teaming for New ‘Conan the Barbarian’ Movie 20th Century Studios has attached the filmmaker to write and direct 'King Conan,' reviving the character that was an early signature role for Schwarzenegger.

I was just lamenting a few days ago about how I would never, ever see this, and how bummed I was about that. The old Millius KING CONAN script was pretty much a must read for all of us at Ain't it Cool 25 years ago and I'm DYING to see what McQuarrie does.

I saw Mr. Seitz in San Antonio years ago at a screening of Rushmore. He had his Wes Anderson book out. My friend Gabe was with me, who can ramble infinitely about Wes. He did just that with Matt for some time after the show. 1/2

Writing for Zeteo from inside of prison on International Women’s Day, Leqaa Kordia asks us not to forget the female detainees being held and mistreated in ICE detention camps.

Here's a lovely photo of my fabric art spirits. There are six of them. The one on the far left is a white spirit with a gray face, seven black eyes, and a grinning mouth full of five sharp teeth. Next is a pair of ghosts. One is white with a gray face, twinkly black, and an open mouth full of teeth. She's covered with pink flowers and yellow markings. She has two twirly white wisps. Standing on her head is a tiny white ghost with a gray face, pink flower eyes, and a little frown. She has two little arms. Next to them is a black spirit sitting on a chair with a gray face, twinkly red eyes, and a little frown. He's covered with white, yellow and purple stars of various sizes. He has two black wisps embroidered with a line of white stars. There's green fur in the background of the spirits, and they're on a galaxy print fabric.

Meet my newest creations: the Gloom-Wilders. I designed and hand-sewed them, and I hand-embroidered all their flowers, stars, and markings. They're a family of spirits who live in a haunted woodland (haunted because they live there).

Oh, thank you - I was happy to get out of there last year! Unfortunately, my "dead" site on there still gets more followers each week than my active Ghost site does, but I do not regret making the switch, especially with how things are over there. It was just not worth it. 🖤

Both free & paid subscriptions are great, but paid subs do help out with keeping me able to see movies, getting our dogs their prescriptions & lately, just groceries in the house, too.
