Replaying Day of the Tentacle always feels like home to me somehow! I'm trying to learn more about why I love this game so much. Maybe it's the unique vibes, the setup of that one mansion over time and the bizarre situations. I love how this game makes sense of the nonsense! (If that makes sense)✨

This brings my time with @inklingwood.bsky.social to a close, and I had an absolute blast channeling voodoo, shooting a cannon, haunting a church, provoking a fight between two puppeteers, and talking to shrunken heads. An triumph, that you should definitely check out, if you love adventure games.💀

Today I'm sharing a little music excerpt from the prologue of Nova Forever! This one can be heard while you explore your way through the corridors of a lonely output in space. I'm going for calm vibes with the exploration-music so it doesn't take away from the players puzzling and looking at stuff!✨

Love this, because it made me think instantly of the way good adventure games communicate hints very much in a subtle way that kinda plants information that is anchored in the world / story, rather than a straight up hint.

I have managed to take my time with this one so far, playing it for a bit every other day. Super chill and what a lovely game so far! It feels very dialed in, in terms of difficulty and flow, and how the game locations kinda open up one by one. 🤩 A very pleasant experience so far!

Our heroes Cargo and Nova stand at the counter of the racing-themed Pit Stop Bar, where a seemingly unconscious person is strapped into a racing seat while a miniature car is administering a drink to them through an opening in their racing helmet. Cargo yells out "Woah!". The counter is made of asphalt, and the entire bar is full of checkerboard patterns and corny, racing themed props.

A dark and dangerous looking elevator dangling over a steep elevator shaft, while the heroes Cargo and Nova can be seen trying to repair the elevator that is stuck with no electricity.

The main character Cargo standing in the middle of his tinker room inside an asteroid. A drone is shooting up into the room through a hole in the ground, startling two holographic creatures surrounding it, called Slushy The Slime and Boogie The Ghost.

The so called travel bay of the Plaza space station. In front of a vast, endless skyline of buildings and start stand the Teal Casino building, surrounded by advertisement screens, synthetic palm trees and grass.
