My daughter went to a snowing game than last night's when Josh Allen also played. (2017 when they were undergrads)

Baby's first roux. It (and her gumbo) turned out really well. Half of my grandparents had South Louisiana roots going back hundreds of years., it's fun when the kids embrace that.

Oh, she gloated. It was hilarious. Now, the boys' teams play next week. (Nobody went to UT, but they were raised in Austin, so my 2 year college kid claims them).

My second-born is not generally at all interested in college football, even though she goes to an SEC school. But her underdog team played her big brother's team yesterday, so she went, and got to watch an upset. Tonight's family dinner is going to be interesting.😂

As well as can be expected, I guess. It was laparoscopic, so no huge incisions to deal with, but still, they removed organs, so there's definitely a lot of healing to be done. I got to go home same-day and sleep in my own bed, and I think that's helping.

I had major surgery on Monday. My pre-op type just in case I needed blood was done on Oct. 3. They had to run it again because the type could have changed? Spoiler alert: it didn't.

Hey my handle is invalid.

Momming is hard, even after kids are grown. My baby is having a (minor) medical issue, and I can't go to her because I have to head in the opposite direction for surgery tomorrow. She's a nursing student, so has good resources, but it's hard not to be there.

Who can hate chickens?

I think we're likely to get *something* from the anthology, anyway. And maybe some Folkmore, too.
