Is the time right for an All In The Family reboot with Archie as a liberal boomer and Meathead as a youthful conservative?

I don't understand why they're all so convinced that their god is a he. Why would a god need a gender at all?

I am not a military guy but I have tried to imagine what it would be like to have dedicated my entire adult life to military service and then be summoned to a lecture from those guys. I think I'd be angry.
