[Xe stick her tongue out at him. She thought he was done coming up with completely impossible theories, apparently he was just waiting to come up with a truly ridiculous one!]
"(You stay in bed, we'll bring you food, alright?)"

[Patting his leg comfortingly as Jongler carries him off. Battat isn't usually *this* out there with his theories, he must really be sick!]

[In unison]
"(A copy of what????)"
[Her tail's bottlebrushed.]

In theater, we wear masks to show the truth.

[Silently, they hand him a fork, and then sign to Jongler.]
"(Did you see him yesterday come back inside?)"
[Then, as a second thought,]
"(Which pippins? Wouldn't we know?)"

"(Pippins?)"
[She believes him about it slashing at him, but eating a pippins? *That's* the part xe doesn't get.]
[Their tail twitches with morbid curiosity. Who would even put a pippins in their mouth to begin with?]

[Xe follow behind them, tail thrashing, and immediately take the opportunity to rub up against Battat's chest as soon as Jongler has his head pinned.]
[He doesn't seem injured, though? They pause, just long enough to ask-]
"(What happened?)"
[-before she returns to nuzzling him.]
