Though we do have at least one account of a pagan fire ritual during the early Christian era. What they did in C4 France was basically the same as what Ukrainians have done in this century, only they didn't have car tyres to set alight.

Pagans set wheels on fire and rolled them down hills at midsummer in 4th-century France. More recently Ukrainians did the same with car tyres 🔥☀️🔥
