Well it’s been raining heavily all day, summer car horn went off without a break for at least 30 minutes and I need to start dieting soon.
Cloudy at the beginning, but so damn worth the trip out. #bloodmoon #lunareclipse
10. Mario Party 10
How fitting that the 10th entry is the 10th mainline Mario Party game. More or less the same as its predecessor but with a new bowser mode. It has its moments and I do like the mode. One match lasted less than 5 minutes. And there’s only 10 minigames exclusive to that mode…

9. Mario Party: Island Tour
Third portable entry in the series, second *game* made by NDCube, and it goes back to solo travelling!
Minigames are good and take advantage of 3DS features such as gyro. I’ve owned this game since 2014 and I feel it’s still a good one to come back to.
7/10
8. Tetris Effect: Connected
With the move I had to leave a lot of things back in the UK. My PC monitor was one of them, so I’ve had to buy a new monitor, what better game to use? The game pops! Also turns out it has HDR, so that’s a bonus. Now if only I can get my Philips Hue setup back up…

7. The Super Mario Bros. Movie
It was on national TV so why not? Good way to chill for a few hours and yeah I like this movie, cannot wait for the sequel later this year!

Reset button pushed
6. Interstellar
Humanity is struggling to survive and an ex-NASA engineer turned farmer is once again requested by NASA to pilot a spacecraft through a wormhole near Saturn. Ultimately trying to find a new home for humanity.
I really liked this film. It had me engaged from start to end.
8/10
5. Mario Party 9
Recording this game is donezo. The board game aspect of this game changes drastically, and I applaud the devs for at least trying something new. Unfortunately it doesn’t quite work in their favour. The minigames are pure Mario Party, this is where I enjoyed the game the most
7/10
4. Donkey Kong Bananza (100%)
Every banana. Every fossil (which is required for every banana). Almost there with the discs but the banana chip exchange won’t give me any more.
Game counts 949 bananas, do I go for 999 and every skill point? Still had great therapeutic fun smashing everything.
10/10
3. The Last Fast Show Ever - Part 3
The actual last one. Winding down the jokes and even a few scenes at the end of the actors “closing up” as it were. Still the same jokes as well throughout the show that got laughs.
7/10
2. The Last Fast Show Ever - Part 2
A rare moment with the family. A fair few repetitive comedy sketches, each one with either the same joke or variations. Somehow they still land and get laughter, even when you can see the joke coming.

1. Mario Party 1 (NSO)
One game, lots of chaos. A typical Mario Party match, almost lost my voice by the end of it.

Next week, I will be moving to Australia. Been one year in the making. There’s those feelings of excitement but also nervousness. It’s yet another fresh start.
MEDIA THREAD 2026:
Third time’s the charm
This is a thread of every game, movie, TV show or album I finish in 2026, with a brief summary and rating out of 10. Note that this rating is solely based on my enjoyment and not of overall quality.
Right, I believe that’s everything. This thread is now concluded and I’ll see you all in 2026!
90. Mario Party 9
Still working my way through this for the channel, but ugh the board gameplay is horrible. The minigames do make up for where the board gameplay falls very flat, though.
New developer, new ideas, but some just don’t work.
Again, I do like the minigames in this one

89. Mario Party Superstars
After playing through the series I had to see what and how they remastered the minigames, I also listened to the music of this game as well. Nice way to reminisce, I guess
9/10
88. Animal Crossing: New Horizons
When news of the 3.0 update broke, I went back to this game to familiarise myself with what 2020 me did with the game. Time to go back when the update drops soon enough.
6/10
87. Super Mario 3D All-Stars
Galaxy came to the Switch long before Galaxy 2 did, and I am trying to beat this version of the game as well. Maybe one day soon.
8/10
86. Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training for Nintendo Switch
Playing sudoku at work, mostly. When there’s nothing else to do.
8/10
85. Kirby’s Dream Buffet
Few hours online racing with friends and a good way to compete with people. Though I’m still not any good at this game
6/10
84. Kuukiyomi 4: Consider It - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition
Be considerate to those around you, and experience daily Japanese life. Silly ways you can mess around such as float on the train and mess with people, at the cost of lowering your consideration, and now I want to go back to Japan
6/10
83. Sonic Racing Crossworlds Open Network Test
These few hours were amazing fun with friends online and honestly Mario Kart needs a competitor. This has potential to be an amazing game!
9/10
82. Mario vs Donkey Kong
GBA remake on Switch. Only up to World 2, just can’t seem to get into the game…
5/10
81. Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD
Brief session probably replaying the final boss for some odd reason. Game is 100%’d I know that for a fact. Final boss always gives me a thrill.
8/10
80. Luigi’s Mansion 3
I don’t remember if this game is 100%’d… if it is then it would have been scarescraper online with friends. Which is really great if you work together. One of the Switch (1)’s best looking first party games.
7/10
79. Nintendo Switch Online Playtest Program
Second time I was invited to play this, save data from the first time was still intact, is very chill and I am wondering what this is a play test for. A great way to relax for a few hours, then not playable again.
7/10
78. Drag x Drive
Had very little time to play this at a public event and a demo on my system which I have barely touched. But the controls use the mouse mode on both controllers and can take a while to het used to, but is still enjoyable, but I have not played this online with friends.
5/10
77. Fall Guys
Silly fun with friends online, nothing more, nothing less. Great times with this game, but doesn’t seem to have changed much over the past few months?
