Thomas and Jolan, main characters of my personal project Tamalyn. The background is dark, lit by Thomas' halo and the cursed sword Clarent, from which a green glow emanates. Jolan's hair has turned white, dried blood drips from his nose, he seems unconscious but still holds his sword tightly. Thomas is supporting him, hugging him from behind. He has a worried, almost guilty look on his face. Jolan's head is tilted slightly to the side with a hand on Thomas' arm, as if he was responding to his lover's embrace.

A couple seemingly asleep in an old boat on a misty lake. The figures, the dark water and the mountains are barely lit by the moon. The boy, Thomas, has black hair and pointy elven ears. The girl, Janet, is blonde and leaning against him. No one can say whether this is a moment of tenderness, escape, or death.
