i read this cause i wanted to know if the special edition is work buying and it is! it’s so pretty, and the story matches quite well. there were several trope-y eye roll inducing moments (very ‘not like other girls’ fmc) but i had fun!

this is soooo fun. it’s incredibly cliche VERY often and there’s a lot of eye rolls happening on my part but i really am having a good time! i’m a little over halfway through and the descriptions of everything are so magical

not as enjoyable as the first one and i wasn’t as engrossed in the story. the writing style felt v different, and the multiple different realms got a bit confusing. i didn’t feel as connected to the characters as i did to howl and sophie, but it was mainly fine!
