Public spaces are often designed with male users as the norm. Men are 5x more likely to use basketball courts, 4x exercise areas & 20x skateparks vs to women & girls. Women must engage in 'safety work', navigating public saves to avoid male harassment.

Women with endometriosis earn less, research shows Researchers suggest that following diagnosis, women may take lower-paid jobs or work fewer hours.

UK study (N=55K) finds women with endometriosis had a decrease in monthly earnings after their diagnosis. They may be taking lower-paid jobs or working fewer hours. The probability of being a paid employee also decreased 2.7%.
