Last week, I took part in Weekandart, an art competition held on Twitch to raise awareness of the category. I was in the traditional streamer category. The theme was: 'Lost Civilisation'.

Pentagram on of the world’s leading ad agencies used Midjourney, rather than hire actual artists.

Pentagram, one of the leading ad agencies in the world, displaced artists on a huge project for the US Federal Government, and used Midjourney all throughout the website.

The image depicts the media Midjourney generated, plastered all over the new US government website.

1/6 So one of the BIGGEST ad agencies in the world, got a giant project by the US GOVERNMENT to design it’s website. The agency used Midjourney.

So is the US government now into the business of displacing artists and elevating a tech that stole from artists and is terrible for the environment?
