Today on #WorldBeeDay 🐝 I want to share that I recently learned that Xylocopa virginica usually mate while flying. So when the female lands, the mating tends to stop.
In this video, a few hopeful males are doing their best to get her back in the air… you know, to do the dance of love hehe.
