it's funny because it looks like it makes the fight easier but it's actually WAY harder because you have to memorize the entire attack sequence and movement pattern/timing of the bosses to successfully seal the homing bullets

this boss strategy is nutso.... i will never be good at hellsinker....

childhood is being afraid of the sa-x in metroid fusion. adulthood is discovering that the simplistic monochrome horror of metroid 2 is actually more effective. haggard old cronehood is being too busy learning scoring routes for a doujin shmup from 2007 to play games published by nintendo

you know i first played it as a kid and i liked both the story and the horror elements back then but idk if i'd like them as much nowadays, maybe that'd be true for the action too lol

the one thing i genuinely think kicks ass about it is the "secret message"....

i'm kinda curious if you hate it more on its own terms or in the context of the series and your expectations, i haven't played it in a billion years but i remember it being a decent action game (like a lot of "metroidvanias" i have to not treat it as an exploration game or i'll be mad)
