The Trump administration just announced an expansion of the heinous Global Gag Rule in their crusade to dismantle decades of progress across the world in improving access to reproductive health and rights.
But it doesn’t end there. Republicans are exporting their horrendous domestic policies abroad, preventing millions of people globally from accessing reproductive care. We must defend reproductive health and rights at home and overseas. Take action today to restore US global health funding –🔗 in bio!
And this was just the start – Republicans want a national abortion ban. Already, they are working to create de facto federal bans by cutting reproductive health funding, attempting to reverse approval for abortion medication, and forcing health clinics to close.
Today marks the 53rd anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the landmark decision that protected the right to abortion in the US. Since the US Supreme Court overturned this ruling in 2022, many states have passed outrageous abortion restrictions and outright bans.
