I’ve spent the last few months writing and recording new material, the mixes are done, and the new Avro six track EP heads to mastering end of this month.

This record came out in the 90s but I think is so relevant to the current world climate - definitely a big fuck off letter to racist ideology and the far right, and it’s one of my favourites ever. What’s your go-to musical boost when the world feels like it’s going to hell?

It’s the little things that bring joy. I have never looked more forward to cleaning a toilet.

It is all over the world. But in the US, the concern for public safety is TikTok, weed, and Kinder Eggs. When a country has more gun deaths per year than any other western nation combined, but those concerns are more of a priority over very basic weapons regulations, shit is broken.

So TikTok is now banned in the US - if they’re looking at banning things for safety reasons, might be time to revisit the idea of… oh, I dunno, reasonable gun control laws?

Trump and Musk - there, I said it. These asshats don’t need more oxygen, and I won’t mention them again. Sunshine is the best disinfectant. Despite the madness, there are many working for positive change - we need to shine more light on them. Time to give attention on the real change-makers.

Oooh doo tell! That was the one plank I thought was the most important to their election pitch, and without it, we're in the situation we're in now. So... yeah, made me grouchy when that happened.

No one looks at policy planks or actual quantifiable results. Not a fan of JT (I was so choked on the election reform thing), but the hateful rhetoric out west here particularly is just out of step with actual reality.

100% anyone who uses the term 'woke' the way most politicians do, simply do not know it's origins, and are simply weaponising the term. It's a time of voting for soundbites, slogans and strongmen.
