Bloodliners (2025)

This one caught me off guard, but after two decades, there's finally a new album from the Bi Kyo Ran name. It's extremely good! Brandishing plenty of its trademark influences as well as some surprising compositions. The bonus that came with this one was also very very nice. :)

Evil top surgery is very iconic, very powerful.

A painting on a triangular canvas. It depicts an angular figure made of white lines with a cube head, flat rectangle body, and roots/branches in place of limbs. The figure is located in a worn grey chamber which has an opening high on a wall, revealing a blue sky with white clouds and birds flying by. The root sprouting from where the figures left leg should be is rooted into the floor of the chamber, while a branch in place of its right arm has grown greatly, with many branching ends, one closest to the window seems to be have a couple yellow sprouts. The growth in place of the figures other limbs is small and weak-looking.

King Of The Hill: Season 14 (2025)

It's still a little baffling that it's back, but I'm so glad that it is.
Starts off well enough, and builds up to some really great episodes near the end of this initial batch.
I'm confidently excited for the next set.

I love Bauhauzzo because he's so wise, so lovely, so...
...at one with time itself, I guess. He really almost had me expecting the "ancient statue god entity" deal, but no, bauhaus grandpa. The idea's out the window the instant you meet him. The world is so much better with him in it.

The Wonderfully Weird World Of Gumball (2025)

Yeah, Gumball is back, alright.
Feels a little more unhinged than the original, and "less restricted" in general execution.

True (2024)

The closest anyone has come to the true "Yes" sound in a long time. Jon's vocals remain stunning, even as he turns 80, and The Band Geeks backing him up give their best as well.
Simply put, "True" is a clean and high quality effort, full of emotion, but it lacks a little serenity.

The Overview (2025)

A very strong return to proggy core for Steven Wilson, who without a doubt, remains as one of the greatest contemporary geniuses of the genre. The album's concept mingles with impeccable atmospheres and a top notch performance, a very cohesive opus.

Promenada (1989)

Technically not a first, just first full listen.
Komendarek's unique musical character blends well with his appreciation for classical music.
Some would say that doing arrangements of them is a rite of passage for prog keyboardists alike.
So far I've loved every example of it.

Phineas And Ferb Season 5 (2025)

It's great!

Characteristic colour choices, crisp and balanced outlines, and character anatomies perfectly between something chibi-like and more evolved humanoids

静かの海 (北山真・花本彰) (2025)

A self-titled bonus promo disc to the album in the previous post.
Very exclusive.
It contains two unreleased rehearsal tracks from Mr. Kitayama's past, which are great curios to have.

It's more of a collector's item, but it's also media, so it counts!

II (2025)

Two legends of the Japanese prog scene unite once more, under the banner of [静かの海] (Sea Of Tranquility).
Mr. Kitayama's voice sounds like it has not aged since his prime, and Mr. Hanamoto is still sharp on the keys.
Their post-pandemic together-project came out excellently, I love it.

I'm just gonna avert my eyes from all socials until I experience the new Deltarune chapters for myself.

Chiikawa (2022)

So simple, so charming, but very uplifting.
I think that it's very important that things like this exist.
Recommended highly to people who just need a little mental rest, no shame, no anxiety, just cute little critters living their life.
All for you to see.

Considering that it combines a retro aesthetic with horror, both being things a lot of people like and cling to. It likely won't kick the bucket for a long time, just decrease in relevance gradually.
It might be the only horror some know how to make, but they ought to try and learn new types.

SBB - Wolność Z Nami - Tom. 1 1971-1980 + CD (2025)

A long-awaited new effort documenting the band's golden years, authored by the very founder of the label responsible for releasing all its material in recent years.
It's a must for any fan.
And the CD included has exclusive, tasty cuts...
