One other notable thing that I saw today was that 350104 has lost its Eurovision livery
It has LNR logos applied to the base white, although those logos are on a silver background...

I assume it had to have some sort of repair on that side and they had to take the green vinyl off to do it
128 is the same

I also saw the one thing that I missed out on at Derby, 89001!

My train coming back was chaotic in itself. A Birmingham bound 350 came in, and was waiting for the inbound from London to come in, so that it could join and the rear of the inbound split and go to Birmingham instead. No one knew that though!
Did have a nice stroll while waiting though and saw 2 66s

The other end of the APT was nicely painted though!
Crewe has been chaos this afternoon, delay after delay...
Did see a few firsts for me though, being a TfW 67, 153 & Northern 323, even if it is a ex WMR one!

Had a nice day out at the Heritage Centre in Crewe!
Saw everything there, including a very white APT...
I'm quite a weird person because the thing I was most interested to see was actually the Pretendolino MK3s 🙃
Nice journey back too, since the 350 I was on is ran fast from Crewe to Rugby!

I must say, kudos to Chiltern for reopening a line that is supposed to be closed for engineering work right now, to allow diversions to take place while the mainline is closed!

Very random thought, but I've always wondered why 158881-158890 were renumbered the way they are
Unless there's some difference between them and other 158s, like something to do with the engines perhaps?

This morning 68022 & set TP12 arrived at Banbury Depot!
68022 happened to be the only 68 I had travelled behind under TPE too, which was a nice coincidence

3 carriages from 3 different units 🙃
The other halves of 165018 & 165024 have found themselves with 55409 from 165034 in the middle! Currently stored in Banbury Depot, presumably awaiting parts or being used to give parts instead?

The Avanti & EMR timetables on there are both their first ones after taking over the franchises. I also found a few FGW & GWR HST reservation labels from whenever I had previously travelled on them

I realised that I had quite a lot of memorabilia from various events, so I decided to make a sort of "memorabilia shelf"
A few window labels on there, such as a LNER FS one, a few GWR ones, few Chiltern ones & of course the Creighton-Ward one
Put my Rail200 395 on there too, because why not!

Popped out to see 47727 come into Aylesbury. No idea why it was there, but it was!

I think that's something a lot of people wished they had done, me included! Was certainly a brilliant time nonetheless!

Its honestly reassuring to know that people didn't get to see everything despite not having the short time limit that the tour had! Was a bit gutted 😅

Last spam post of pictures I promise! Spent a bit of time at Derby station today unintentionally before heading home. Saw a fair bit, including new livery 170112 & 113, as well as a 37 & 43257/43274

At the other end were 350106, 799201 & in the back was 323221. Then finally was 37800 & 99001. That was all I got to see annoyingly! Although given what I did get to see, I'm quite happy with how this trip went!

On my way out I went through the shed with all of the EMUs. In there were 313201, 507001, 465908 & 455868 at the front

Also in the shed was 720568. Then at that point we got told to make our way out so I had to start rushing a long to see as much as I could. I saw 73137, 73119, then rushed over to see 150231 in its new livery. There were other things I didn't get to see like 68034, 88010 & the Inspiration Train

Next along were the LT 4TC set, and then in one of the sheds were 3417, 755410 & 220033.
220033 had its vinyls removed on the first coach so I can assume its the first one for refurbishment?

57307 was still idling, then next to it were 43198/43004, as well as a 17 (?), and of course, 373999

Then up next was 43159, a new 398, 43060 in its Rail200 livery & also 2 RA 43s

Walking back to the center there was 2 55s, 26007, 57008 & newly repainted 66200

On the inner line were D213, 45118 and other locos I simply cannot remember the numbers of 🫠

In the middle were a line of locos I wish I could have seen more of! Them being 90018, 70020, 59201 & 57604

There was then 3 lines of locos by the entrance. Including 12099, Sarah Siddons, 56045, 60046, 50007, 37901 & 91117 at the front

Walking down further took me to 60163, 27056, 31108 and 57314. Then to the right was 69016, a Drax Wagon & 66301, then 66004

Once the 345 test track run was done, we were allowed to start roaming around freely. I started by walking towards the entrance/exit, seeing 331013, 91105, and the 2 50s first, as well as 390119 of course!
