Absolutely. But feel like usually one or two but fact we've got two deaths already and over ten in hospital. 😬

Two people die after University of Kent meningitis outbreak Eleven people in the Canterbury area are also seriously ill in hospital, the BBC understands.

Extremely concerning news from Kent. ☹️

So as discussed with the @afewforgottenwomen.bsky.social team at the show yesterday my attempt to get my friend more genealogy engaged is working. πŸ˜›

She was on the website this morning reading up about some of the women covered so far.

Hope all having good journeys home and I'll see you online.

TheΒ Free Given Name Abbreviation FinderΒ Tool automatically generates abbreviations for given names to help improve your genealogy searches.

I have seen as high as 100-150% additional results by using name abbreviations in newspaper search criteria.

Don't suppose we have a guide on how to reference the wine aisle in genealogy research reports.

Yeah it is like one big room so they had put room dividers down like you get in offices but still space above for sound to carry.

Even sitting the furthest away side and speakers mic'd up just glad I'm not hard of hearing (well yet anyway).

Was definitely nice to get out though and glad I went.

The negatives are that they fail to actually give you some idea where the entrance to event building is and the chatter coming from the stalls area is really distracting during talks as still in same room.

Have had a good day at the Family History Show partially because I got to enjoy some sunshine on the drives but also got to hang with my good friend who is getting more interested in the genie world. πŸ˜› And she also brought me a slice of her birthday cake and a waffle for my breakfast.

I'd have come if hadn't got plans for early tomorrow. Their van was in Wellington yesterday and I was tempted to hijack. πŸ˜›

I've just seen Aldi showing a cheesy hot cross bun. πŸ€” I'm not convinced.

What price were they offering it at? I'm likely to hit up Wickes again just because the distance I need to transport it to the car is minimal. πŸ˜›

Bet you've struggled last few days with no Olympic ring pasta for dinner and other lovely looking food. πŸ˜›

Hoping it isn't as bad as forecast, don't fancy an icy drive down but the council out gritting tonight it seems.

Cool good to know and yeah I'll hopefully be able to catch up. Have convinced one of my besties to come out for the day too - slowly getting her more into it all. πŸ˜€ Saving on postage of her birthday gifts which is today. 🀣

Ending the week positively & looking forward to The Family History Show, Midlands. Turns out I will happily set an alarm at weekend for some things. πŸ˜€

Good outcome from a meeting beginning of week & just had a message to say that a client's half-sibling that I found for them has got in touch! πŸ‘

I tried the lemon and white chocolate, then rhubarb and ginger offerings from Sainsbury's. Would recommend traditional over those. They were perfectly acceptable but just not right.

Don't want to copy Royal Bank of Scotland - they have otters. And mackerel it seems.

How about an elephant hawk moth? And bluebells or primroses.

Yeah that sounds very very very plausible. I would be interested to know if there are any twins out there willing to give credence to that being a possible cause. πŸ˜›
