I like the idea of getting paid for writing though. I don't know if that would actually happen but with simply posting, you know you're not getting paid for it

There's no time limit or urgency in posting

I'm writing down some thoughts I have for Twitter when I go back but I'm not in a rush

Sometimes you have to surrender and just let the waves pass through you. That's why I like being in water

Every once in a while I check in on Twitter/X and it’s like walking into some kind of white supremacist street gang fraternity house and finding a bunch of my friends and colleagues hanging out in a corner talking about grant applications while passersby are getting assaulted across the room

I'll have to try some of those non-alc drinks at some point

I usually write very fast when journaling so I am not taking my time with it.

I have to get somewhat proactive about that but who has the time?

Every few years the LaRouchies come and try to rope in newbies and young people

Frustrated over old beef and people being stupid about law enforcement

Frustrated with Elon limiting anti-fascists (i.e. the Stonetoss stuff)

I know this is all just part of the price of social media but 🙄

Frustrated with all the larping people do

Frustrated with how people are going about trying to support Palestinians

It's just been bullshit after bullshit after bullshit. Like I'm frustrated with the CAHN people, frustrated with Canadians (esp. Toronto)

Maybe I will just leave. Idk. If that's all it has to offer
