Yup! And you'll probably notice titles rotate more often than others as well. Romance/erotica has a HUGE reader base, while things like sci-fi and fantasy have a very *picky* reader base, so in terms of ease of getting into publishing, romance is where it's at.

I entered the 'romance' writing world about 10 years ago. I still get royalties from novellas I wrote back then. One thing I learned is that most of the writers in the genre absolutely do not care about quality, ONLY quantity. I ended up getting burnt out and haven't published since.
