When I saw the announcement I felt like this is more of a collector's item. Nothing to be seriously played with but rather for those who just want to have the Virtual Boy at home. I'm pretty sure they won't sell much.

A few weeks ago we had no internet for about a week. I was sooo happy I still had my DVDs xD and a player of course. I use my PS3 for that. I don't intend to throw/give them away at all. You never know when you need them.

I heard it once and now I make sure I set English as my default language. It sounded so awful and robotic.

Strange... maybe it's a bug? Sounds like you did everything you can.

Is there a way to change the language preference to English (US)? Or did you try that already?

I totally feel that :'D there's just no immediate gratification for that and I'm only glad one task is over. And then there's the next one. I started treating myself before I do something which at least gives me a bit of energy. Or I make myself as comfortable as possible. Helps at least sometimes.

I'd love to learn 2D animation (just for myself) and already bought some courses that Aaron Blaise offers on his page. I just didn't have the time to sit down and watch them because I had so much to do ^^' I don't hate 3D-animation, but 2D just looks so good.

Especially the overall quality of Scarlet and Violet could be better, sure. However, despite the issues I was able to enjoy Scarlet and I still play it. I pay more attention to the soundtrack instead of graphics and in my personal opinion, those games have the best soundtrack of the whole series.

I believe people could then do what they want to do as a job because they wouldn't have to worry that much about the money they get as employees. However, I fear that some employers will then pay less/just minimum wage because "oh, you already get money for doing nothing. That's enough!"

Proving you don't use genAI can be hard sometimes. An artist I follow thankfully wasn't discouraged by those accusations, but others deleted their profiles because they got a lot of hate despite the lack of evidence. I only comment on images where I'm sure they are generated.

I appreciated the video a lot to be honest. After seeing the shirt with the blue raspberry, I felt a bit... let down. But I'm glad that they try to avoid it whenever they can. As for accusing people of using genAI: there are people who do that on purpose. That has happened to a lot of artists and /1

Yeah, totally. I can't be mad as well. He already stated he's not a fan of genAI, so I'm sure this was a slip-up. Even as an artist I sometimes have problems to tell if something is genAI or not. This was a bit more obvious, but there really is a lot of convincing stuff out there.

Looks like GenAI to me, too... on Garfield himself there's a lot that doesn't make sense (the missing lines on his left and the strange thumb on his right paw, the legs stop at the same point, the tail looks very uncomfortable). On the cat it's the face and the markings.

Ah, I'd just like to clearify that I don't buy everything I want blindly. As I don't have much money I think about what I buy very carefully. If I know I will enjoy a game, I'll buy it. And if there's just one thing that bothers me (like the soundtrack in MH Wilds for example) I won't buy it.

I don't know if this helps, but I'm also buying the Switch 2 :) Just not when it launches because I need something else first. But I agree that the prices for the games are quite high... I did not expect that.
