OUFC would never have dreamt of including EFL Trophy games, the FAWNL Cup equivalent, in the cost of a Season Ticket. It would have rightly been met with a huge backlash.

Feeling positive about the upcoming season.

I refuse to support #FAWNL Cup matches due to the involvement of PGA teams, so I won't be purchasing a Season Ticket for the first time in many years, out of principle, unfortunately.

Changes to next season's FAWNL promotion system will see one additional team promoted from Tier 3 to WSL 2, decided by a play-off match between the second-place teams in the Northern and Southern Premier Division.

In short: increased chances of promotion next term for #OUWFC.

I personally prefer racing on two wheels, so purists and fans of the sport may disagree, but F1: The Movie serves as a very good sports movie — it's engaging and entertaining throughout, with some really nice videography and racing sequences. Very enjoyable 156 minutes.

An increase in Cup matches will inevitably lead to more fixture disruption, costs, a greater demand on resources and personnel. Some clubs are already stretched by the FAWNL Minimum Standards. What about the Board's responsibility to them, its competitions, and the fans? 4/4

The FAWNL Board has repeatedly talked about the collective responsibility of clubs to help develop emerging PGA talent as a way of leveraging clubs to support its proposals. But why? There are systems already in place to assist the development of youth players — use them. 3/4

The entry of PGA teams into FAWNL competitions undermines sporting integrity and dilutes the opportunity for FAWNL teams to compete in a national final – it almost happened last season – while risking turning a meaningful competition into a development tool for elite clubs. 2/4

Sporting integrity and rewarding accomplishments should be key values of any sport. FAWNL clubs have earned the privilege of competing in FAWNL competitions through sporting merit. The culmination of years of hard work and dedication to climb the Pyramid, not a show of hands. 1/4

Believe most of the players departing were unable to commit to our new training programme, which is understandable as it's not the most work-compatible, but increased investment must be regarded as a positive.

The losses of Barratt and Poole are disappointing. Both top players.

I'll judge the squad as a whole in August, but the fact is, we're coming off the back of our lowest league finishes in a decade in consecutive seasons. The manager absolutely has to deliver next season, because, so far, he has not, despite increased investment. Some huge losses. Recruitment crucial.

New season. Same mindset. Same goal.
