Trump: "We obliterated Iran's leadership and its military. There's nothing left."
Also Trump: "Today, we are going to hit them harder than they've ever been hit before."
(Both paraphrased. Not by much.)
What exactly is he hitting harder than ever if the leadership are dead and military destroyed?
Thanks for sharing. My family have all lived here for many years (I am 0.5 miles away at the moment) and my dad loves old radios. Guess what I am going to try and track down for his birthday?
Looks drawn in in mascara to me.
This is how concerned we are.
I don't disagree, but our broken planning system does not help.
A year ago I saw reports that the planning submissions total 250,000 pages. Utterly pointless. Nobody will read them, yet we pay someone to write it so the planners can tick a box.
Bigger. Problem. Than. Anticipated.
The first verified Shahed Drone attack on Ukraine was 1,270 days ago.
Ukrainian numbers put the number of Shahed strike UAVs launched at them last year alone at over 32,000.
Your brain, is it... not good? Do you have the bad brain? Sir? Sir?

How's that massive slide to the right feeling Labour pals?
Cause I'm not even in the Labour Party and it makes me feel sick.๐คฎ
This fundie belief is nonsense even on its own terms. "I believe in an all powerful God, and I will force His hand on Armageddon".
Is God all powerful or are you going to be able to force His hand?
God gave us brains. It is not a sin to use them from time to time.
"While votes at 16 is a genuinely historic step, how motivated will young voters feel when, for so many, their vote will almost certainly change nothing?
The most powerful thing we could do to engage all voters is to give them a system in which their votes actually matter."
Well said ๐
As Nigel Farage is now so concerned about the influence of "foreign-born voters" can he finally explain why a Kazakhstan-born billionaire appears to be bankrolling his own political party?
If anyone in Church House can't see why this is a problem, I am happy to send them a Bible.

No sympathy for the regime, but lots for a nation of 100m souls who have been trying to rise against a bad government for years, but whom the rest of the world won't support.
Extremes of the right and everyone on the centre and left might be more honest.
Dear @lucympowell.bsky.social,
I have enjoyed our exchange of letters about which of our parties is best placed to stop Reform. Hannah Spencer MP and I trust that you agree that this question has now been resolved once and for all.
Thanks,

This may end up being Starmer's biggest mistake. There's no fixing the health and care system now that Labour have booted out hundreds of thousands of foreign workers from them with their Reform-like immigration approach.

Gorton and Denton.
Just a simple question for Reform:
Does this mean Matt Goodwin is now a โShadowโ MP?

Also, the bill needs a much stronger obligation for the railways to support adjacent development. Otherwise, we won't get those 1.5m homes.
NR charges for what they call asset protection have tripled in 4 years in some parts of the country. This alone has added ยฃ2k to the cost of a social rent flat.

This is absolute cobblers.
I know from personal experience that if the leaflets don't state who it's on behalf of, they shouldn't be distributed. It doesn't matter if the "error" is "inadvertent" or not; you can't push them.
This short thread is worth a read if you think banning church buildings from being converted for other religions to use is a clever idea.
The Christian Church never was and never will be about the buildings, lovely as some of them may be.
Real Christians remember that the early Church had no buildings at all.
All the Reform policy will do is prevent poorer denominations selling buildings on the open market, hastening their demise.
a year is a long time in politics
Amen brother.
From a Christian perspective, these plans are satanic. And that is a sincere assessment, not a rhetorical flourish.

Good thing all that appeasement from Starmer protected us from this then.....
