Leaderlessness is a coordination problem in decentralized systems.
Most participants behave as followers rather than initiators. What we need is not centralization, but more distributed leadership — multiple credible actors who can coordinate, propose, and execute.

There’s a difference between curating your space and becoming intolerant of views that challenge your own.

That said, context matters. If disagreement turns into bad-faith arguments, hostility, or constant provocation, blocking can still be a reasonable boundary.

But disagreement is different from abuse. In a functioning public space, people will hold opposing views. That’s normal — even necessary.

No one is obligated to tolerate toxicity. Boundaries are necessary for meaningful conversation.

It’s completely okay to block abuse, spam, harassment, or explicit content. Protecting your space and mental energy is healthy, not censorship.
