My #PaWriCo ended with achieving half goals, which I consider quite a good result through all life problems.

Need to return to social media and chats... Too tired, sorry!

Sometimes I think I want too much in this life, but otherwise why live?

Suddenly, ads on my Spotify became partly in French. It was English only. Alright.
Anyway, in Dutch when? For all my language studies.

Is it possible to get a job offer as a writer (creative things, not tech wr) with relocation package?

I only saw that for comics authors, but maybe there is more?

All good if it works for you!

What I mean is more like close reading, lit analysis.
For writing exercises and main writing later. 📝🧐

There's a fake Tamsyn Muir account on here and I have several mutuals following it. When in doubt whether one of these things is a bot or not from their profile and main feed, check the replies. As Juliet says, it's an instant giveaway.

I've had a couple writers recently withdraw immediately saying they signed with another agent, so I thought I'd do a mini chat on what's expected once you receive an offer.

1) thank the offering agent. Let them know you still have materials out and ask for 2 weeks to make your decision.

It can work for games or even animations. Maybe for comics too. But these forms have strong visual part, plus games have gameplay.

It's so different from written stories for reading only. I think publishers are mistaken, if that's what their expectations are.

Find it's difficult to care, too. Like yeah, I see, The House, the drama, people, alright, & so what. Why on earth should I be here of all places? Bad time spending; need to dry digging rather enjoy my adventure. I need some appetizers (with style~); I know that the gothic novels are rich for those.

Before.
The House is a sort of adventure. I don't want to suddenly appear out of nowhere. I want to have a path to go a bit before, with some atmosphere, misty info and all that jazz. And then I arrived.

Ouch. I know what you're watching.

For me the worst thing was... font. This font is just a horrible joke. 💀

the whole local library.
Now I'll return to this practice!

And yes, I get that... Not all that praised and with awards, even if I like the technical side of storytelling, truly capture my mind. Sometimes it's hard, especially when "Oh, I bet, I could have liked it. But it didn't happen."!

I kept notebooks when I was a kid, in which I collected quotes, songs and legends/myths from books. I filled out three notebooks, it was very fun and useful... Inspiration from Tolkien carried me like on wings. But a full proper reading journal was forgotten while I was binge-reading the whole

Alex's deadline is Saturday. If you've ever shared an 'oh no' comic - especially if you shared this doctored one with a fourth panel added! rude! - then chuck them a quick donation for their horrible, horrible legal battle.

Writers, do you keep a reading journal for the purpose of mastering the craft?

If so, is it notebooks or in digital form?

If not, but you're looking to it, maybe you have some questions or doubts?

TV Writers Found 139,000 of Their Scripts Trained AI. Hell Broke Loose It's 'organized crime,' says one, as scribes from Shonda Rhimes to Robert King face a system where studio policy and law remain murky

As I’ve been saying for over a year:

If your business model doesn’t work without violating the law, you’re not in business — you’re in organized crime.
