It sure is a relief to not be playing 40 wardens anymore. Tonight I had a game where I didn’t fight for my life for 5VP.

Two things. I get that Vhordrai is a big kit. But four units in a ’battleforce’ is a bit lame.

And haven’t we already had this Sylvaneth box? Why are there only 1st edition or older models in that box?

This is insane.

After two games of playing until the clock runs out I get to play vs 7 stonehorns. Finally, a quick game.
Nope. A grueling slog which ends with me losing by 5. 40 wardens is too many. I’ll never recover from this.
But at least these guys are happy. 🙂

Game 2 vs SBGL was another nail biter. Worst 2-0 so I pair down into Felix’s ogors. Finally… not a match where both players will clock out.

First game was a BRAWL. Barely pulled out the W and I’m rewarded with Dennis & his Soulblight.

We’re running it back. Game 1 is Liferoots. Local RTT so unpainted is permitted for this one. Forgot Eltharion at home though so for game one a varghulf believes he’s him.

It’s bitter sweet to look back at the first units of any army painted compared to the last. Knowing you have improved… but also some of them don’t look quite on par.
Looking forward to seeing those knights. :)

First tourney of the GHB on sunday. Got five more bladelords to paint up and YEP.

Made the terrible choice of fielding a horde of wardens today.
Back did not enjoy.
And maybe it’s just me but is it just my Sevireth which explodes before doing anything every game?

If only it was any good… not too sure why it went up in points.

Think I got my mojo back. Tournaments on the horizon means I gotta paint. That’s a grand total of two this month. 😅

I’m of the opinion that Age of Sigmar needs more standard bearers.
But it already takes 1000 hours to paint varanguard you say? Don’t care. Should have a standard bearer because it looks dope.

Yeah the control score manipulation really speaks to me.

Always wanted to run the twins. Battlescroll kinda pushed me over the edge. I’m sure there’s something good there, just annoyed it doesn’t have a subfaction which gives them any kind of support. 😅

Been gearing up to get into playing Slaanesh recently and I have come to the realisation that there are 0 out of 6 subfactions which does anything for daemons except adding rally dice to non-hero units with no save.

What the hell?

Sylvaneth, and the list I was running specifically, got a gigantic points buff this battlescroll.

Yet I feel no interest in playing it. Instead I’m sitting here lamenting that all my StD lista are 10 points over for no good reason.

If you can physically pack your Gnashtoof army in a single carry case GW has failed as a company.

They didn’t even decrease the cost of the Gnashtoof.
