I recall that there used to be both funding and a process in place to refer Vets over to community providers - to be used when VA staff was maxed out. I hope that's still the case, but it sounds like things are unravelling for this process. And then people don't get the help they need.
adhering to the playbook, it seems. "never apologize" is a core fundamental.
If I follow this fellow's comments, he was told "If a program is about DEI in any way, shape, or form - kill it." He was just following the EO, it seems. Yet, he is able to say that they didn't actually do much to reduce the national debt or deficit.
Tragic, I think.

Sadly, the people who really need to see this may never get a chance or if given the opportunity may claim it is simply irrelevant.
Do you get a sense that this fellow didn't actually develop a deep understanding of the concept? Sad, tragic, and a waste of resources, I think.

Orderly disorder! - these carts were stored near the docks at Friday Harbor, San Juan Island, Washington State, USA. They might still be there; hard to say - the photo is from the late 1990s
I’m appreciative the Administration is narrowing its objectives to things that are militarily achievable. That gives an exit strategy, which they otherwise didn’t have.
Whatever they're up to - I'm sure it'll be fine [sarcasm]

I'm not a doc, but I've talked to many people post-concussion. The advice to rest, to not do much cognitive work - is pretty standard, for a good reason as I understand it. Please consider taking good care of yourself.
