Also, the innie vs outie logo... the early ones stood out.

Another thing- the Scandyna produced ones stopped matching the rubber speaker surround's color to the body (not sure when). Yours matched, so I think it's a Blueroom-made and not Scandyna.

And yes, a stacked "snowman-esque" shape is something that interests me.

From what I understand (could be wrong), the original Blueroom MiniPods were unibody fiberglass. Laurence Dickie (B+W nautilus, Vivid Audio) was part of the design team.

The later ones had two halves, hence the seam, from a thinner material. Then Scandyna became the maker, with different models.

Those are really nice. I had ones like yours, with the seam, but then found the original unibody versions, which I think are slightly better. They sound surprisingly good (to me), and are used for my TV system.
