Okay, I'll put it on the list.

The whole point of us creating a newsletter was so we could develop an email list so we could reach out to people regardless of platform and the "follow" feature on substack negated that. So that, on top of everything else, was why we left.

The other thing to consider with substack is that they have a social media layer on top of the newsletter system which means that people can follow you but not subscribe, this means your audience is potentially stuck on substack.

We had our newsletter on substack and then moved it over Beehiive but there are a lot of writers on substack that I subscribe to. I understand why a lot of users stay, there are a lot of features on substack that other platforms don't offer.
