- Gives them their best leadoff option since J.P. in 2023
- Low Ks, high OBP means he'll help set the table a TON for Julio and Cal
- Takes a lot of pressure off Young and Emerson needing to be good
God I'm so excited about the Donovan trade. Yeah we lost some prospects and Williamson but this is a real "win now" move we needed to do to set us up to go back to the ALCS this season. This lineup has me so excited for Mariners ball again in March!!
