But funny the increase in the denouncements & renouncements of our #D9 orgs, especially in recent political seasons as they've flexed their influence and muscle.

To my mind, there are two institutions wholly owned and operated by the Black community. Where we choose our own leaders, raise & spend our own money, and set our own direction.

The Black Church. And the #DivineNine.

2. She is imminently qualified regardless of what her fight looks like. Period.

Living a public life is not prerequisite for being a candidate for office. She's already served more years in public office than any presidential candidate on recent history.

She gets to take some time to step back if she wants. She is not our work mule.

Kamala Harris has been a public servant her entire adult life. Now she's in PRIVATE life. She owes us nothing.
She gets to do what she wants, including write a book. I hope she got a good deal and makes a gazillion dollars.
