There are a whole lot of people in charge of the government right now and many government-adjacent ones where all I can think is that we're all paying the price for their parents failing hard at parenting correctly.

I feel like the same could be said of almost any topic. The last 45 years has been Republicans claiming that government doesn’t work, and then sabotaging the government to make sure it doesn’t work.

The GOP has done nothing on healthcare in the 21st century other than stop Dems from improving it. Literally nothing.

Like my argument was, if you're going to argue AOC wouldn't have done the same thing Schumer did, then you have to prove it.

Meaning you have to explain why Schumer did it, and that it's a reason AOC would be unlikely to follow.

If you can't do that, then you can't argue AOC wouldn't have done it.

I mean, if I was dead wrong, then both you and the person I originally blocked would have been able to address the point I actually made, versus your made up fake strawman versions of it.
