The switch to a July-May season for the #MLS seems sensible for many reasons, and I think this is an important one: MLS matches are played in significantly higher temperatures compared to the top 🇪🇺 leagues.

First of all--completely agree with these. Second, this is what bothers me about Poachers--they don't have a second quality. Simply being a finisher isn't enough for me because I think it's too easy to have long dry spells in addition to not creating many chances for your teammates.

It CITY’s case, it feels like our Secondary Goal Scorer this year was Hartel, who I would also classify as a Passer. But until we got JSB, we had no Runner—no one with enough pace to get behind the defenders and this really neutered our attack. Runner is important.

I think the Primary Goalscorer has to be combined with one of the others, most likely Dribbler, Runner (see Denis Bouanga), or Physical Presence (see Christian Benteke).
