Unfortunately it isn't factually correct. Most of strip sold revenue goes to Adidas while club gets an annual income guarantee of £xm. So risk for sales volume sits mainly with Adidas not club. Bonuses usually link to CL qualification etc so that will have impact but that's not driven by the fans
But those on the waiting list will still (in the main) be as pissed off as the rest of us.
