yeah that’s what i mean! it feels like the writers shifted or again that that conclusion was for a different (earlier?) version of the script or something. bc it just doesn’t feel like it adds up haha

i would have much rather preferred an ending where maybe their relationship wasn’t resolved so easily but rather them agreeing to counseling for both their sakes + her taking a step back so she can finally relax & have less on her plate like what her whole arc was meant to be about. finding balance

sure that’s all fine, but again it happens pretty abruptly & Jules’ arc seemed to end in a way that felt like it wasn’t what it was building up towards. the first 2 acts are trying to get her to open up & accept outside help (ie the ceo plot) but suddenly she turns it down + forgives Matt? like what

the more i think about the ending of The Intern the more disgruntled i feel about it

the last act feels like the ending was for a completely different version of the film o-0 it just shifted so abruptly & stopped being about de niro

I adjusted Ganache’s face slightly here, as the angle in the original didn’t quite feel right (but I needed to finish before the game ended!) so I went back in today to do those little changes & am happier with the result 👁️💕
